Bill West
Following a successful career with Pacific Dunlop as a Divisional CEO, Bill came to Australia to
head up the original syndicate that negotiated and was involved in the set up, Government liaison and launch of the Gold Coast Indy Car Grand Prix.
He was also responsible for sourcing the funds to underwrite the Australian yacht training trials for John Bertrands America's Cup challenge in the early 90's.
His passion for motor racing was ignited again as CEO of PROCAR, working with the Palmer Group to develop a number of new categories in Australian Motor Racing including the Australian Production Car Championship - or GTP - as it was known.
Bill then spearheaded the marketing campaign for the “Race of A Thousand Years” Adelaide Street Race which featured Le Mans series cars shipped to Australia for the event, leading to a further association with the Panoz team at the 2003 Le Mans 24 hour race.
Bill together with Craig Denyer established SPHERIX and currently category manages the Australian V8 Ute Racing Series as well as having managed the MINI Challenge and Armor All Bathurst 12 Hour Showroom Enduro Event.
Craig Denyer
For over 10 years, Craig was a commentator on GPTV working with Tim Jardine’s
Z Space team and called V8 Supercars and the Formula 1TM race for GPTV for over five of those years. Through this long term association, Craig has a unique and intimate knowledge of the AGP event.
As a motorsport television commentator, Craig has also worked with the Nine, Ten, Seven and Fox Sport networks.
With vast experience in the TV, Radio and Motorsport industries, Craig adds a distinctive dimension across many areas of the marketing, production and commercial arm of the motorsport industry.
Following a distinguished career in radio, which culminated in the establishment of the SEA FM radio network, Craig conceived the V8 Utes concept in 2001, and was the key driver of the category's development in its formative years.
Erin Bain
After completing a four year media degree in New York City on a water polo sports scholarship, Erin returned to Australia to commence work in the sporting industry in various media and communication roles.
Starting out with Queensland Events in 2004, Erin worked on local events such as the 2004 Pan Pacific Masters Games, gaining valuable expertise in sports management, marketing and PR.
In 2005, Erin joined Australian University Sport (AUS) in the Marketing Executive Role. During her time with AUS Erin was responsible for the 2006 Australian University Games, Snow and Regional University Games events, including running the media centre, stakeholder relations and coordination of award ceremonies.
In 2006 Erin relocated to Qatar to work on the Asian Games in an operational capacity. This on the- ground experience equipped Erin with a well rounded understanding of the sports management side of events. Upon completion of her contract in Qatar, Erin was employed as a Reporter in the Media Outlet for the Word Aquatic Championships held in Melbourne.
Looking to work a little closer to home, Erin was appointed to the PR & Promotions Executive role at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoying the change from the sporting world, Erin was able to immerse herself in this new environment in the tourism industry, working with respected industry professionals implementing successful PR campaigns.
Seeking a new challenge in 2008, Erin joined the SPHERIX team working with Australian V8 Ute Racing, MINI Challenge and Managing the PR campaign and Media Centre for the Armor All Bathurst 12 hour.

Craig Nayda
Hailing from Adelaide Craig had an immediate passion for planning and development and completed a BA of Sports Management and Planning at the University of South Australia.
With a degree in hand Craig followed his zeal for sports and bought a sports retails store in Adelaide, which he owned for two years until deciding to make the move to QLD to work in Motorsport in the Procar Champ Series from 2000 to 2004.
Following the demise of Procar, Craig started his own business management consultancy company, with clients including the Floyd Group and Drift Australia. Craig stepped back from the company in 2006 when an opportunity arose to run the Australian Performance Car Championship, which he managed until the end of 2007.
In 2008 he returned to focus on his consultancy business until halfway through 2009 when he joined SPHERIX as the Operations Manager for MINI Challenge and other SPHERIX clients.
Following a short term contract in the stadium entertainment industry, Craig returned to SPHERIX in September 2011 as the Operations Manager of the Australian GT Championship.
Craig brings with him a wealth of motorsport knowledge and experience which has proven to be a valuable asset in the management of the Australian GT category and other event based SPHERIX clientele.
Evan O'Neill
Evan joined the SPHERIX team on a 20 week internship program and he has now moved into an event time assistant role, where he assists with on and off-track preparations for the Auto One V8 Ute Racing Series - protected by Armor All.
He is currently studying at The International College of Management Sydney undertaking the Associate Degree of Business in Sports Management.
As part of his Higher School Certificate he studied Tourism and Events at TAFE NSW gaining a Certificate 2 in Tourism (operations). The course required volunteering at a number of events such as the 2009 Sydney Good Food and Wine show and the 2008 Big Exo Day.
In late 2010 Evan had an internship with the NSW Sports Federation for four months and he recently assisted the Australian GT Championship at the Bathurst 1000 with pre set up of the pits and drivers lounge as well as other required preparations.
Kady Ducker
Kady Joined SPHERIX in May on an internship program. Whilst she is here she is assisting with the preparations for the Deniliquin muster to the mountain and Bathurst Armor All Ute Muster. She is also helping with the End of Season presentation night.
Kady is originally from the UK and after spending some time travelling, moved to Australia 3 years ago. She is currently in her second year at Griffith University studying a bachelor of business degree in events management and marketing, through which she has volunteered at events such as the Brazilian dance festival.

SPHERIX has appointed Craig Nayda to come on board as the Category Manager for the Australian GT ...
Australian V8 Ute Racing Pty. Ltd is an organisation made up of 32 shareholders each owning a Ute that drives in the Auto One V8 Ute Racing Series - protected by Armor All. There is a board of directors who implement the CAMS official rules and regulations and who are also in charge of keeping the series fair and synchronized.
The Board have appointed SPHERIX, a management and marketing organisation directed by Craig Denyer and Bill West for all their promotional and logistical needs. Please see www.spherix.com.au for further information on this company's involvement.
